Alan Kolderie has many niches in the Twin Cities music scene, performing on clarinets, saxophones and recorders.  He plays clarinet and bass clarinet in the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra and Encore Wind Ensemble, and tenor sax in the Good News Big Band and occasionally the Classic Big Band.  Alan was a musician for Skylark Opera’s 2012 production of Wonderful Town.  On recorder he’s worked with Clea Galhano and the Bach Society of Minnesota, and has done several master classes over the years with Marion Verbruggen.  Alan also works as one of the Schubert Club’s museum guides, has done librarian work for the Lyra Baroque Orchestra, and has the unlikely distinction of having once played crumhorns to a capacity crowd at Orchestra Hall.
